Why American Legion Youth Baseball?
Since 1949, the Danville American Legion Post 210 has been providing the opportunity for the youth of the community and surrounding areas to participate in a recreational baseball program. Its goal is to provide children with an enjoyable baseball experience, which includes learning the skills of baseball, teaching and instructing youth in the rules of baseball, promoting teamwork and developing skills necessary to play youth baseball. The organization aims to instill the values of sportsmanship and competition in youth and to provide lifelong habits of diet, exercise and health.
Please help us reach our fundraising goal of $20,000 as we continue to make improvements to our park and facilities. Current projects include B League renovations (fencing and foul poles), irrigation systems, a new lawn mower and drag machine, concrete walkways and new scoreboards. We appreciate everyone's efforts in reaching this goal!

Visit the ALYB Concession Stand
Our Concession Stand is open during all regular season and tournament games where fans will find Pepsi products, Gatorade and snacks including hot dogs, soft pretzels, nachos, popcorn and ice cream. Restrooms are also located in this centrally located building adjacent to the B Diamond. Umpires will find a room for pregame preparation and coaches utilize the building for monitoring their personal mail boxes. All profits go into field and facility improvements!
ALYB 4th of July Celebration
Join us each and every 4th of July for a full schedule of regular season games and special events, including the annual Home Run Derby for age divisions 12U, 10U and 8U. Occurring just a couple of weeks before the Post-Season Tournament, July 4th at the American Legion Youth Baseball Complex is the perfect way to celebrate the holiday with friends and family!
